How we work.

WebGuardServices is our service brand, based in California. These policies explain our process. Before payment, your written quote identifies the actual service provider, deliverables, total price, schedule, and terms for your engagement. Sending an enquiry, starting chat, or generating a report does not authorize paid work.

Checks, fixes & projects

The public automated website check is free. A free clarification covers existing findings and a suggested next step. Small fixes start at $59 for one confirmed issue; a human website review starts at $199 for up to three agreed pages and a prioritized action plan. Implementation, penetration testing, and legal advice are separate from the review.

Custom software, features, integrations, automation, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing support are quoted against an agreed scope. Larger projects can be divided into milestones.

Pricing & payment

Starting prices in USD. Scope, total price, applicable taxes, and any approved third-party costs are confirmed before payment. Review pricing excludes implementation, penetration testing, and legal advice. Small jobs are normally paid after scope approval and before work starts. Larger jobs use the payment or milestone schedule in the quote. Additional requirements or third-party costs need approval before we charge or proceed.

Timing & responsibilities

We aim to acknowledge enquiries within one business day. This is a response target, not a completion promise. Your quote confirms working hours, delivery estimates, dependencies, and any agreed work window once access and requirements are ready. Scope changes or missing access may require a revised schedule.

Access, testing & handover

Use the secure access process agreed for your project; do not send passwords in chat. Before changes, we agree on backup, staging or testing, deployment approval, and rollback arrangements appropriate to the work. Handover is checked against the agreed deliverables and acceptance criteria.

Correction support

Report a defect caused by our delivered change within 14 days of delivery. We will review and correct defects within the agreed scope without an additional fee. New requirements, unrelated pre-existing issues, and subsequent third-party changes are assessed separately. This additional correction support does not reduce any rights provided by applicable law.

Cancellation & refunds

Contact us if you need to cancel. We review completed work and approved third-party costs and confirm any amount due or refund under your quote and applicable rights. Any required consent to start work early is handled separately; an enquiry or payment alone is not treated as a waiver of consumer rights.

Scope & limits

Public checks and lab scores are observations, not proof of safety, exploitation, legal compliance, accessibility compliance, or future rankings. A full investigation or penetration test requires a separately agreed scope and, for penetration testing, written authorization. Ongoing support requires an agreed plan; it is not automatically included with an individual job.

Project-specific terms

Your quote also confirms confidentiality, involvement of any additional specialists, intellectual-property and licensing arrangements, acceptance, and any relevant data-handling requirements before work begins. These policies do not replace mandatory rights or the need for terms appropriate to the provider and customer locations.
